Wednesdays Heartfelt Inspiration

Hi bloggers. Today is a day for inspiration from Heartfelt Creations. My card today features the latest collection called Cascading Fuchsia. I wanted to create a vintage feel for my card. For some reason I associate Fuchsias with antiques, hmmm wonder what that's all about? Lace, pearls, butterflies, and of course Fuchsias just screams vintage to me! I hope to think so too.
For detailed instructions to create your version of my card can be found on the
Heartfelt Creations Blog, along with my teammates gorgeous projects loaded with inspiration for your pleasure!
Thanks for joining me today and come back soon!

Heartfelt Wednesday Inspiration

Hello Bloggers! I have another card made with the fabulous new Cascading Fuchsia collection from Heartfelt Creations. This release is so pretty and absolutely perfect for this time of year. I went to my local greenhouse this past weekend and was super inspired  by all the gorgeous Fuchsia hanging baskets. A greenhouse trip certainly puts me in a happy place, how 'bout you?
This card is colored with Copics, but I have used a technique called "No line coloring"
There are a few tutorials out there on the web, but HERE is a link to one on Splitcoaststampers  you may want to check out. This technique is not for the faint hearted, but the results are so worth the effort!
You can find detailed instructions for this card on the Heartfelt Creations Blog
along with some beautiful art from my teammates, so but sure to stop by and check it out!
Thanks so much for joining me today and come back soon!

Cascading Fuchsia Release

Hello Bloggers

Heartfelt Creations invites you to join us for a stroll through a quaint cottage garden where your cares will melt away and your creative energy will be refreshed and renewed.  The Cascading Fuchsia Collection of stamps, dies and papers is bursting with lush greenery and exquisite beauty.  Here, you'll find pendant shaped clusters of show-stopping pink, purple and magenta blossoms that are also called "Angel's Earrings."  Graceful vines, lacy patterns, flitting butterflies, shady bowers and delicate latticework come together and form this restful haven.  It's a celebration of the simple things that fill this moment in time with wonder and spontaneous joy.  Cascading Fuchsia: It's a flawless garden of peerless delight and a creative sanctuary for the artist in you.

My card today is colored to match the Fuchsias I remember my Mother having when I was a little girl. They were one of her favorite flowers. This collection brings back so many fond memories of my Mom and I am so grateful for that. You can find the detailed instructions to make this card on the Heartfelt Creations Blog. There are so many beautiful samples for this collection you should really stop in and see for yourself!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and come back again soon!
Hugs, Maureen

Heartfelt Wednesday Inspiration

Hi bloggers. I'm bringing you mt last "showcased" project from the latest release, Everyday Heroes. One of the perfectly delightful things about Heartfelt Creations products is the interchangeable elements of each new collection with previous releases. The creative possibilities are endless, by mixing and matching!! If you you watch closely you'll recognize a few elements of next weeks release
Cascading Fuchsias, that can be used with a few items from the Everyday Heroes release, fun huh?
Now my card today is a gate fold card that started out as an interaction piece. I found a really sweet idea in a card making magazine (which shall remain nameless) that went totally south due to poor instructions. Don't you just hate when that happens? I am so blessed to design for HC which requires detailed instructions for each piece on their weekly blog posts. I am always confident that my teammates will have wonderful projects each and every week that our followers and customers can easily re-create. I'll bet you are too! Now on to my card, which by the way, I am pleased with even if it morphed into a totally different thing than originated. LOL
You can find my directions for this card on the Heartfelt blog, and readers, if you try this and have trouble please, please let me know! My goal is to give you some "Heartfelt" inspiration and make it easy for you to re-create it for yourself. Here's a picture of the inside of my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and come back again!
