Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hi bloggers. Now don't fall off your chairs, but I have a SCRAPBOOK page to share with you! I know, right?? I couldn't believe it my self, and the funny part is I love how it looks. I think they intimidate me a bit, so that's why I sort of keep putting off the making of them.
This is a tribute to my Dad for this past Sunday which was Fathers day. He's been gone for thirty three years and I can still see him as plain as if he were here. There is a commercial on television that states the man in it, is the most interesting in the world, but I think they're wrong.
My Dad was! He could keep you mesmerized for hours with his story telling, my goodness what an adventurous life he lead.
I've used the Blazing Poppy Collection on my layout which is the current release from
Heartfelt Creations.  We are participating in a blog hop with the ART ANTHOLOGY company and we are showcasing several of their products this week. I have used the Colorations Spray called Raider to enhance the background of my layout, cool huh? You can check out the HC Blog this week for several more sample using these great products.
Now here's my tribute page and you can let me know what you think.
You can find the complete detailed instructions for this layout on the
along with all the beautiful creations from my Design Teammates. Pop on over and enjoy!

My Besties Challenge #13

Hi bloggers. Time for a "Anything goes" challenge over at My Besties International blog. My card today used a Sherry Baldy image called Messy Bessy, found at Sherry's Etsy store. This card was made for a hairdresser who was retiring. I think she is just cuter than cute! I've included a close-up so you can see all the details Sherry added to make this a perfect fit for any cosmetologist.

This challenge runs from 6-22 thru 7-3 and you can make anything you wish as long as it has a My Besties image.
The prize is 3 digital images or your choice for first place and a badge for the runner ups.
I hope you'll join us for this challenge and share your pretties with us! Just go to the challenge blog and follow the linky tools to enter.
Thanks for joining me today
Hugs, Maureen

Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hi bloggers, time again for some vivid inspiration with Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppy Collection.
I love the bright cheerful colors of this collection, super pretty. I think there is something spectacular about bright red poppies! The background  on my card today uses one of the 5" X 7" card fronts in the Blazing Poppy paper pad. I think the picture printed layering  on these card fronts make it so easy to create a card. Even if you are a beginner and don't have a large amount of "tools" to work with yet, you can create stunning cards with just a bit of ribbon and glitter!
If you would like to re-create this card or any of my teammates beautiful projects this week, you can find complete detailed instructions on the Heartfelt Creations Blog found HERE.

Thanks so much for joining me today and come back again soon.
Hugs, Maureen

New Release day at Heartfelt Creations

Hi bloggers. It's the second Wednesday of the month and you know what that means. Time for a new release from Heartfelt Creations

Has the humdrum of the daily grind sapped your energy and stunted your creative mojo?  Rejuvenate your creativity with the saturated colors and resplendent artwork of the Blazing Poppies Collection of stamps, dies and designer papers from Heartfelt Creations.  Escape to verdant fields where dancing poppies sway like ballerinas wearing dramatic hues of blush, coral, peach, scarlet and ebony.  Let this glorious canvas of flowing script, heirloom lace, ornate flourishes, flower laden arbors, bold stripes and soft neutral backgrounds enliven your senses and awaken your inner Van Gogh.  The Blazing Poppy stamp and die allows you to fashion bold, life-like poppies in every size and color.  You'll design museum worthy backgrounds, card focals, layouts and home décor with the sumptuous stamps and paper collection.  Create your own masterpiece, and spark your imagination with the amazing artistry and uncommon brilliance of Blazing Poppies.

I have two cards to peak your interest today and I'm hoping you like them as much as i enjoyed making them. I have one traditional Poppy card and one that has a bit of glamour going on. You'll have to let me know what you think.
This release has a stamp set called Blazing Poppy Fillers and I used it to add baby's breath to my card background with the stamp & some liquid applique'. I wanted to incorporate what was on the tags into my card front. Here's a close-up of them.
Here is my other card that is a bit dramatic and elegant, but I really love how it turned out. The Poppies in the peachy coral color are so pretty.

For complete details and instructions on how to create these cards you can go to our
Heartfelt Creations Blog. There are so many pretties to see over there you sure won't want to miss it!
Thanks for joining me today, and come back soon.
Hugs, Maureen

Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hi Bloggers. Time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration. I have a sweet little birdhouse for my project today. This was a small MDF house I picked up at Michael's. You can find the complete instructions for this little sweety HERE. I have to say though, in my instructions I haven't given any measurements as you could apply this to any size birdhouse or box you may have on hand, or purchase. I thought it was perfect for this time of year because most of us here in the mid-west feed the beautiful little creatures that brighten our summers. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for joining me today and be sure to stop in to see what lovely projects and cards my teammates have created for you on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.
Next Wednesday is the new release called Blazing Poppies and you're in for a real treat, so be sure to check back in then, rock on red!!
Hugs, Maureen
