Emma The Caroling Angel

Here's a card I have finished for FSS Designs. She is called
Emma the caroling Angel and you can find her at this link. This image is so versatile as she comes with birds or not, a Halo, or not, and well too many other ways to print this little honey, soooooo go and check her out!! I wanted to keep this card monochromatic, which I have a tendency to do on Christmas cards, if I haven't used the traditional red & green, which is always a favorite for me.
The papers I used on this card are from a 6X6 pad I bought last year called Christmas Joy from First Edition. This pad is non-traditional colors of aqua, muted pinkish red, and shades or orange, half plain and half glittered, oooh yummy! It's so beautiful I hate to cut it up, I mean how sick is that? LOL
The border on top is MS Snowflake PAP decked out with rhinestones of course :-) and a little silver cord from my garage sale hauntings. The flourish is Holly from Cheery Lynn and the Poinsettia I made from Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia. The tiny little flowers are a Punch-a-Bunch I bought quite some time ago & can't remember if it has a name, sorry. All the flowers are sponged with a little Stampin Up Sage Shadow ink pad. It may be discontinued, I've had it for some time now. Centers of flowers are tiny silver beads, a gift from a friend, thanks J. Emma has some Liquid Applique' on her dress pizazzed up with some Frosted Lace Stickles, and her wings have Stardust Stickles.

Here are the Copic colors I used on Emma:
Birds- C1, 00
Skin- E02, 01, 00
Cheeks- R20, blended with E00
Hair- E25, 23, 21
Dress- G00, 000, 0000
Thats all for today bloggers, hope you enjoyed my little project. And don't forget to stop back on Friday for the FSS Blog Hop!!!
Hugs,
Maureen

Halloween Rosie

Hello bloggers. Here's a FSS digi called Halloween Rosie, isn't she just the cutest evah!!!!
I believe this is Tracey & family's doggie, but I colored her a bit differently than the pre-colored image. I used Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles to cut her out but used the "Out of the box" technique, which is why her broom is over the edge a little. I kinda like it!
I used a fence die I have from Whimsy Stamps & cut off the bird & birdhouse that sit on it, stamped some little pumpkins I had & fussy cut them out & popped them up for dimension. The drippy goo & bats are MS punches, sentiment is computer generated, & the ribbon and rhinestones are from my stash. I colored the ribbon with Copics to deepen the purple as it was too light.

Here's the Copics I used to color little Rosie:
Black fur- C10, 5, 3
White fur- C1, 00
Hat- YR07, 04, 02
Hat band- BV02, 01, 00
Broom handle- E47, 44
Broom straw- Y26, 21
Floor under Rosie- E53, 51

Hope you enjoyed this little card & don't forget we are having another Blog Hop on Friday the 28th.  Hope you can join us for some wonderful inspiration & great prizes. FSS Designs has some new images to be released on that day so I hope you can come. I got a sneak peek of course & I'm here to tell ya, they're terrific!!
Hugs,
Maureen

Sharing a biscuit

Hello bloggers! Here's my first Christmas card of the year. I just hate to think how fast it will get here. Seems I'm never completely ready for the Holiday season and poof, it's over, yikes!
Anyway my little card is done with a new Image I picked up at Creative Hideaway. I believe these images are the same artist that draws for Lily of the Valley, which we don't have retail outlets here in the US. What a welcome surprise to see them at Carol's. For my local friends, she is almost sold out but said she will have more in stock before the holidays.
This image is from Dawn's Stamps called Sharing a biscuit and there are three more images in this line for sure, maybe more. I also purchased a calf on ice skates which I will post soon. My inspiration for the colors on this card is the little star banner I picked up at an outlet store in Medford. I found some paper in my scrap bin that went with the colors perfectly, out came the "Magic" of Copics and soon I was thinking snowflakes!
I used Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two and Create-a-Flake Three and a sweet little die from Marianne Designs, LR0116. The ticket stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. The ribbon, Viva Decor liquid pearls, glitter, liquid applique', are all from my stash.

Copics used for this image:
Face & arm- E00, 000, 000
Cheeks- R20, E000
Hair- forgot to write it down, maybe E33, 31
Lavender- V15, 01, 000
Pink- R83, 81, RV000
Green- G000, BG000
Squirrel- C5, 1, 00
Pine branch- YG95, 91

Hope you enjoyed this post today everyone & thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Maureen

Sunflowers & Thankfulness

Here's another sunflower card I colored from Fred She Said Designs. It's called Sunflowers & Thankfulness.
I've said this before, but Sunflowers are really one of my favorites. They are so cheery with  happy faces shining at me! I colored these with my Copic markers, of course, and how fun they are to color too! When I colored my pumpkins & sunflower project for the FSS blog hop my Y13 copic was empty, so I had to substitute and use Y21, but as you can see the brighter yellow just makes the flowers pop!
One of the other girls on my design team did this same card this week with the pre-colored image from the same set and I swear great minds must think alike, as our layout is almost identical, LOL.
I fussy cut the image of a single flower and added to to the top of the frame, which is pre-printed with the verse, and added a new die I just purchased from Picture This in Eau Claire. It's a Poppystamps die called Tilda Swirl, love, love, love this die! Papers are from my stash. I've been trying to dig in my scraps to use some of the stuff up, wow do I have a long way to go.
The Copics I used to color this image were:
Petals- YR24, Y17, Y13
Centers- E79, 57, 25
Leaves- YG97, 95, 91
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed this post and come again!
Hugs,
Maureen
