CHF Challenge # 57

Hi Bloggers. It's time for another Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge. This time our challenge is hosted by my team mate Ann Marie and she has asked us to create a project for "Christmas in July" with a Thomas Kinkade stamp. CHF carries a lovely selection of them in the store & if you love TK's work as much as I do, go check it out. Well check it out even if you don't there are tons of goodies for every taste at the store. My card is done with "The light of Peace" stamp, which isn't actually a Christmas stamp, but this proves how versatile a stamp can be. I added a little glitter to look like ice on the cliff, fence posts, roof, & steps. I made a few paper Poinsettias, added some Holly vines, snowflakes, icicles, ribbon & a charm to complete  the Christmas look.  I could see this stamp used for Easter, a birthday, or sympathy, just to name a few. My sentiment is from the digital collection and can be found here, and it's only 99 cents!
If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!
To play create a card using CHF images. You can use either CHF digi or rubber stamps to create a card or project.... anything you like as long as the stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms. (Yes, they can be older stamps)
.You can enter on the CHF blog and let us see your creations. If you enter your project on the blog or SCS or Pinterest just remember to use the code CHF57

Thanks for joining us today & we would love to see your idea for "Christmas in July"

Please be sure to visit my Teammates listed on my side bar & leave them a comment, they are all wonderful designers and will probably spark your creativity!!

Hugs, Maureen

  1. Maureen, you did a wonderful job in transforming this non Christmas/Winter TKstamp into just that! I love your treatment of the image, and the beautiful card that you created around it! You have definitely captured the essence of the season. Looking at it, truly puts me in the Christmas spirit, albeit in July. Have a merry one, when it finally arrives!

  4. Absolutely lovely! I love that you've transformed this into a beautiful winter scene and the uncolored image just brings this so much of a focal point! Well done!
