Happy Holidays!

Hi bloggers. I hope you all had a glorious Christmas. Mine was quiet, but really nice and I got lovely gifts too! Don't you just love presents? Funny how Christmas turns us into children for a few fleeting moments....... I love it!
I've made a clean and simple card for today's post using the Woodsy Wonderland Collection showing just how versatile Heartfelt Creations can be. I turned this 6" X 6" card from panel into a holiday card without much effort at all. I added the shaker element to make it seem more festive. I hope you enjoy it and are inspired by my creation.

You can find complete instructions for this card and mega amounts of inspiration over at the HC Blog so be sure to stop in. Thanks for stopping in today.

Hugs, Maureen

Woodsy Wonderland from Heartfelt

Hello bloggers, sorry I missed the release date for Woodsy Wonderland from Heartfelt Creations. I was without internet service for five days! What a pain.
If any of you watched the Create and Craft release on television, the paper pad alone sold out in less than an hour! I was lucky enough to have two projects featured on the show, and I must say they looked pretty good on T.V. !!!!
Here's a few words our sweet Tracey has put together for your reading pleasure. If this doesn't put you in a "back to nature" mood nothing will.

Take an adventure on the path less traveled and lose yourself in an enchanting woodsy wonderland filled with magnificent wildlife, beautiful scenic expanses and delicate field flowers.
Heartfelt Creations invites you to explore the new Woodsy Wonderland Collection. Step softly as to not spook the peaceful inhabitants or trample the native wildflowers as you set about exploring your surroundings.  Immerse yourself in a stunning paper collection showcasing a beautiful outdoor themed color palette of rushing river blues, orange and yellow sunset hues, grass like greens accented with the softest wildflower whites, deep purples, and posy pinks, pulled together and grounded with dark tree bark browns, sky blues and moss like greens.  Discover charming cottages, babbling brooks, and grassy fields boasting home to majestic deer, chattering squirrels, prancing skunks and frolicking foxes.  Bold stripes and crosshatch patterns will remind you of trampled wildlife trails, creating eye catching backgrounds for the tiny woodland creatures depicted on the varying sizes of pre-made card panels or within the three extremely detailed and realistic forest themed cling stamp sets which provide the ideal elements for creating your very own woodsy wonderland on your next paper crafting project.  Pair with the coordinating dies to create dimensional forest scenes laden with fallen tree stumps, grassy knolls, darting rabbits, scampering raccoons, decorative butterflies and song filled birds all at play in majestically treed forests!  So, breathe deeply, exhale and allow the beauty of our enchanting woodlands to bring a sense of wonder, calm and peace to your soul as you craft your cares and worries away in the tranquility of our Woodsy Wonderland Collection.

I created my card today using one of the Black Friday foldout bases and some of the new verses that were also released on that day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it! Beware this post is picture heavy.

Here's a collage of the critters, there are more of them in this collection. These are just the ones I used in my card.

Thanks for joining me today and be sure to check out the HC Blog for bunches of inspiration.

Hugs, Maureen

Pampered Pooch Ornanment

Hi bloggers. All ready for Christmas? I'm done shopping, but that is about it. It's 18 days until the big day and I have yet to put up a tree. I wonder where the time goes? This coming weekend will be my decorating marathon!
My project today is inspired by my sweet little Pixie's dreams. I watch her dream and her little feet are scrambling like crazy, a quiet woof, woof, and I am sure in her slumber she catches the rabbit!
i was thinking if she could tell me what she wanted for Christmas it may look something like this. Not a vision of sugarplums anywhere in sight, but a tree hung ever so full of delicious doggie bones and plenty of friends to play with!
I hope you enjoy my ornament today, I think it's just too stinkin' cute"

Here's a close-up of the smiling face of Pixie's dreamy friend!

Be sure to stop in at the Heartfelt Creations Blog and check out all the beautiful inspiration this week.

Thanks for stopping in.
