Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations

Hello bloggers. Here's more spring inspiration from Heartfelt Creations and the newest release Birds and Blooms found here in the online store, or at your local retailer. This particular stamp set is called
HCPC 3648 Home Sweet Home. There are two large focus stamps in this set. The one I have colored for you and a sweet birdhouse, that I feel would be perfect for a housewarming card!
My card today has a momma bird feeding her babies and I have chosen to color her as a house Sparrow. I realize their not given too much praise because they aren't brightly colored nor do they have a fantastic song, but think of how clever they are to be colored well enough to blend into their surroundings, so as to help them camouflage themselves from predators, such as cats, or hawks. Sparrows are plentiful here and I wanted to give them some attention because they make me just as happy as all the colorful birds!

I've added some blossoms from the HCPC 3644 Birds and Blooms stamp set and cut them with the matching die found here.
Here is a close-up of my birdie and the Copic colors and complete instructions can be found on the Heartfelt Blog.
Thanks for joining me today and be sure to stop in to visit Heartfelt blog for some outstanding inspiration from my teammates!
Hugs, Maureen

Wednesday Inspiration from Heartfelt Creations

Hello bloggers1 Glad to be here again today with a project from Heartfelt Creations. I've gone a little bit out of my comfort zone (cards) and created a pretty little treat box. Assuming anything with a lid can be considered a box. :-) I've created my project using the Birds and Blooms paper pad and the HCPC 3644 Birds and Blooms stamp with the HCD 756 and 757 coordinating dies to make my pretty Hydrangea flowers. The complete instructions for my card can be found Here on the
Heartfelt Creations Blog. My Teammate Archana also has a tutorial for making these lovely flowers!

Here's a close-up of the lid for my box and I did color my petals with Copic markers. I have listed the colors in detail HERE.
Thanks so much for joining me today and I'm hoping you are just a little bit inspired by my work!
Hugs, Maureen

New Heartfelt Creations Release

Hi bloggers, time for a precious new release from Heartfelt Creations! This one is a stunner! If you're yearning for spring as I am, well here you go. Check out the "Birds and Blooms Collection" available at the Heartfelt on line store or at your local retailer.

Does Old Man Winter have you firmly in his grip?  Chase the winter blues away with a breath of springtime!  Heartfelt Creations is pleased to present the "Birds and Blooms" collection:  a virtual spring garden that's lovely as a song! Shades of cherry blossom pink, robin's egg blue, and soft leafy green fill sunny garden scenes featuring bluebirds, blooming branches, picket fences, bird baths, bird houses, butterflies and frilly hydrangeas.  Dozens of stunning card fronts, pre-designed layouts, borders, sentiments and artwork are the perfect remedy for mid-winter doldrums. Six hand-drawn stamp sets feature blossom laden branches, nesting birds, garden scenes and an elegant collage.  Two sets of dies coordinate with papers and stamps allowing you to add realistic blossoms, branches and birds to your artwork.  Take a well-deserved break from the bleak landscape of winter and escape to a colorful springtime garden where birds chirp, flowers bloom, and soft breezes lift your spirit and inspire your creativity!
My card today is not what some would think a typical spring card, but here in the mid-west our sure sign of spring are the ROBINS! I wanted to reflect that in my card and chose earth tones to match my little birdies. Aren't they just the cutest thing evah? The absolutely perfect thing about these birds is there is a matching die to cut them out. No fussy cutting, yay! You can find full instructions for my card on the Heartfelt Blog this week and tons of spring time inspiration from all the other girls on my team.
They are quite the talented bunch, and I am so proud to be among them!
I have included this close-up so you can see how precious the little birdies are.

Thanks for joining me today and don't forget to stop in HERE and check out all the other springy inspiration from my team!
Hugs, Maureen

Besties Challenge Reminder

Hi bloggers! Time to remind you all that there is a challenge going on over at the My Beaties Blog. This challenge is "Weaving/Sewing/Faux Stitching" So the options are wide open for this one. The challenge will run until January 16th so you have plenty of time to enter for a chance to win some awesome My Besties digital stamps! My card today uses the IMG826   . I have chosen to Faux Stitch on my card, around the image and some cross stitches on the blue piece behind the image for this challenge.
I've had this image colored for quite some time and I can't seem to find the color list. I do know I used my Copic markers. I've added some flowers I made using the Heartfelt Creations Sun kissed Fleur collection. The feathers and Umbrella are from Spellbinders and the fern sprigs are from Magnolia. The small doily is a Cheery Lynn. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.
I was blog hopping and discovered a product I had never heard of. Sparkle Mod Podge. Of course I had to have some and, I LOVE IT!!! Here is a close-up so you can see how pretty it looks on my flowers. The photo really doesn't do it justice.
So now go and give it a try at our latest challenge and throw your hat in the ring to win some great images. Just go to the link HERE and follow the linky tools to enter your project.
Thanks for stopping by today and come again.
Hugs, Maureen

It will surely kick start your spring thoughts. It did mine for sure!
Now my card today is this beautiful Humming bird from the Romantique Wings cling stamp set. I have used a card front & tags from the Romantique Garden paper pad. These are fabulous, pre-printed and ready to go! I've made my flowers from the Majestic Morning stamp & the
Majestic Bloom die. I've added hearts from the Timeless Amour die and a few flourishes from the Cut, Mat, Create 2A die set. You can find the complete instructions including measurements, inks, etc., on the Heartfelt Blog.
