CHF Challenge #58 Three mediums

Hello bloggers. Time again for a challenge from Cornish Heritage Farms. Our Hostess this round is Irit and she has challenged us to use 3 different mediums on our card. Well I have done many things to my card, but not quite sure if it will qualify as "mediums" I call then elements myself, but if mediums suits, use it! I have stamped off a background stamp called, SL3153 Lined Paper Backgrounder. I then added some stars across the top half with a stencil and some black embossing paste. I did a little sponging with some Distress Antique Linen. I then used several stamps from the ATC-5008 Bicycle Life set. I made a tag , stamped & antiqued it, added some wood veneer across the top with some die cut stars and a dab of seam binding ribbon, and a bit of netting to complete my card. Very different for me, but I am trying to change up my style on occasion.

If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!

PPRS Inspiration Monday

Hello again bloggers. It's time once again for inspiration from some Prickley Pear.
I have a simple card for you today that only takes a few minutes to complete. The paper is from a mat stack called La Creme' made by DCWV which is mainly flocked. the medallions I made with a MS punch around the page set, using just the corner punch. I cut three & then over lapped them to fit the A2 size card front. I cut 1X1 inch squares and stamped them with the CLR047 Mini Vases stamp set and used the "Forever" sentiment from the CLR027C Scalloped Oval 4 set. I used the rest of the 1 inch strip I cut to stamp on and just punched the ends with the same corner punch used to make the medallions. I popped up the floral medallions to give my card a bit of dimension. Simple & elegant I think. We have a new release coming out on August 15th and will be having a Blog Hop for those new stamps so keep watching for the announcement.
Well that's all for me today folks, so I'll see you back here again soon. Thanks for stopping in and come back again.
Hugs, Maureen

CHF Challenge # 57

Hi Bloggers. It's time for another Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge. This time our challenge is hosted by my team mate Ann Marie and she has asked us to create a project for "Christmas in July" with a Thomas Kinkade stamp. CHF carries a lovely selection of them in the store & if you love TK's work as much as I do, go check it out. Well check it out even if you don't there are tons of goodies for every taste at the store. My card is done with "The light of Peace" stamp, which isn't actually a Christmas stamp, but this proves how versatile a stamp can be. I added a little glitter to look like ice on the cliff, fence posts, roof, & steps. I made a few paper Poinsettias, added some Holly vines, snowflakes, icicles, ribbon & a charm to complete  the Christmas look.  I could see this stamp used for Easter, a birthday, or sympathy, just to name a few. My sentiment is from the digital collection and can be found here, and it's only 99 cents!
If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!

Inspiration Monday with PPRS

Good morning Bloggers. It's that time of the week again to start us off with some inspiration from Prickley Pear
My card today is pretty straightforward. And..........are you ready for it, NO COLORING!
The stamps I have used today are from the red rubber collection at the Prickley Pear Store called,
DD0208 Victorian Trike Sm., & DD0209 There is Flattery, for the sentiment. I used two images of the Trike to symbolize two friends, well in my head it worked. :-) The flowers and paper are some I received in my welcome package when I started on the Team. The flowers are stacked different sizes & scrunched them a bit & added a brad to the centers. I used a border & leaves from Cheery Lynn.
Well that's about it for me today, oh I forgot, keep your eyes peeled as we soon have a new release coming and I myself can hardly wait to see what Nicole & Mary (owners) have in store for us on the Design Team & all you lovely customers out there!
Don't forget to check out the other girls on my team, they are listed on my side bar and I'm sure they have some real treats for you. Thanks so much for stopping by today & come again.
Hugs, Maureen

Besties Butterflies or Bees

Hi bloggers. This a last minute post to enter in one of the Besties Challenges, using a butterfly or a bee. This group is in Australia. My image today is from Sherri's My Bestie store on Etsy. This little sweetie is from the "Making Faces" group and she is called Garden Girl, and you can find her in Sherri's store, here. I just love her & think she is perfect for summer with the strawberries, yum!

It's pretty obvious that this is a Birthday card, and I have used my Spellbinder Donna Salazar butterfly set, and my Joy Crafts butterfly border to incorporate one of the elements in challenge.

PPRS Inspiration Monday

Hello bloggers. If you are in the USA, did you have a great 4th of July? My sister came just for the day & we grilled out & had a little picnic, just us two. It was quiet, but very nice. I was busy with some chores in between so really didn't have time for a big brew ha ha, as they say. So now on to my project.
My card today for Prickley Pear is CAS, for me anyway. The stamp set I used is
CLR013C Scalloped Circle & Oval #4 Floral. I think the birds and ducks in this set are cuter than cute! The other elements I used for this card were a embossing folder, some MS PAP punches, round punches, lace, string pearls, black twine, some blue Candi's & three Copics, yes only three! Just to give my birdies a little color. B24, B21, & Y17 for the beaks.

I hope you've enjoyed my clean & simple card today & have the inspiration to go & check out the Prickley Pear Store. Be sure to check out the other girls on my team who's blogs you'll find listed on my side bar. They do some fab work!
Thanks for stopping by & come again.
Hugs, Maureen
