My card today is using the Riviera Gateway stamp. There are two sentiment also included in this stamp set. I've created a fun and different type of background for this card and you can find complete directions for this technique and the markers used to color the Gateway and the Italiana Grapevines as well.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and don't forget to stop in at the Heartfelt Creations Blog for a look at all the gorgeous creations posted there for you. I'll see you soon.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration

Hi bloggers, time for some inspiration from Heartfelt Creations and the newest release,
Italiana Riviera! I love this collections colors, purple and green, they are right up there at the top of my favorites list. There is something so intriguing about the Italy with it's rolling vineyards and rustic architecture, don't you think? My card today is sort of  grape-alicious,:-) I adore this stamp set called
Italiana Grape Boarders, the grapes are so life-like, they are absolutely stunning!
Here's a close-up of the detail of these magnificent grapes, yummy! I added Glossy Accents to really make them pop.
For complete instructions on how to make this card. please go the the HC Blog and there are more beautiful pieces of inspiration from my teammates as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Maureen

HC October Release- Italiana Riviera

It's time to slow down the daily pace, take a deep breath and embrace life with the new Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  We invite you to stroll down the Italian coastline taking in the spectacular seaside views, open markets, and amazing architecture while allowing yourself to relax and get lost in an easy going way of life.  Feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the aromas of salty mist and mouthwatering eats as you pass by a harbor lined with delightful cafes and quaint little shops calling out to you to pause for a visit. Step through towering stone gates to meander through perfectly manicured vineyards boasting rows and rows of coiling vines filled with dense foliage and  plump clusters of exquisitely purple hued grapes.  Then as the sun sets, continue to take in the old world charm and beauty of the area as you relax in your villa, enjoying a glass of fine wine aged to perfection while jotting down all of the days wonderful adventures on an old fashioned postcard, pausing occasionally only to peer out the old stone window that reveals the most surreal view of lush gardens, stately mountains, beautiful flowers and that perfectly manicured vineyard.  At Heartfelt Creations we dismiss the misconceived notion that you are required to leave your craft room to experience the finer things in life...so come along with us as we invite you to explore the charm and elegance of the Italiana Riviera Collection!

Doesn't that just make you want to go on a European vacation? I sure do! My card today sort of encompasses all that the Riviera might offer, and the colors of this collection are nothing short of divine! The sides of my card are made with the new two piece die which is one of the dies in the Italiana Grape Clusters set. There are more of this type of dye coming in the future and I think you'll love them! I certainly hope you enjoy my project for today.

Here's a picture of the card when it is fully open.

Thanks for stopping in today and letting me share this wonderful new collection with you. Be sure to stop in at the Heartfelt Creation Blog for complete instructions for this card, and to see the many samples of this gorgeous collection!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration

Time for another Heartfelt Creations piece. I've used a new medium today, well new for me anyway. I purchased a small set of Letraset Aqua Markers a while back and I'm just now getting around to using them. The are really easy to use and quite the fun change from alcohol markers. I've stamped my Enchanted Mum Clusters on cold press water color paper with Stazon ink so the stamping won't run as you add water. You can fin complete instructions for my card on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and be sure to pop in next week for the new October release from Heartfelt, called Italiana Riveria. It's going to be delicious! So I'll see you then!

Hugs, Maureen
