Heartfelt Wednesday Inspiration

Hi bloggers. Time again for some pretties from Heartfelt Creations.  I played around a bit with some Vellum on this card. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I LOVE the way my butterflies turned out. I also drug out my melting pot and thick embossed my tags. I think it makes them look as if they are made from resin. You know the stuff that you have to mix with a catalyst, & it's messy, messy, messy!
Not so much when you do it the easy way with the melting pot. Heat up the pot, put images in, sprinkle with thick embossing powder, let it melt, take them out, cool a little & bam! Perfect little glossy tags! You can find the complete instructions for my card on the Heartfelt Blog, along with tons of inspiration from my teammates, which in my opinion, is super fun. Now for my card.
I am making this a short post today, because.........yes my computer is down AGAIN! I am at the neighbors post this as my computer will not let me upload anything.
I am not happy. I have to take it back in tomorrow. They promised me faithfully they will have it ready for me the same day, geeeez! Well thanks for stopping in today and stop by again. Have a great day and  be sure to stop in at the Heartfelt blog(click above) and check out m y teammates work, fantastic!
Hugs, Maureen

Heartfelt Hugs & Butterfly Kisses

Hi bloggers. I am late with my post this week as my computer had to go to the Dr. What a bummer! I just got it back last evening so I'm adding my weekly "Wednesday" post today. Better late than never I'm thinking. I've made a cute banner from the new Butterfly Medley collection from
Heartfelt Creations. I love this release, but then I find myself saying that each and every new release! I am so blessed to be part of this company & it's team. My project instructions can be found HERE on the Heartfelt Creations blog, but if you have any questions about it, you can contact me directly at my email address listed at the bottom of this page. Anyway without further ado, here is my banner!
I've included a close-up of each piece of the banner, this was so super fun to make!

Well that's about it for me today, so if you haven't stopped by the Heartfelt BLOG yet this week you should, there are so many inspirational projects to help you get your craft on this week!

Butterfly Medley Release Wednesday

Hello bloggers. Are you longing for springtime...dreaming of sunny hours spent in a lavish flower garden where butterflies flit lazily from blossom to blossom?  Heartfelt Creations invites you to revel in the beauty of springtime with the release of the Butterfly Medley Collection of stamps, dies, and papers.  This uplifting collection is bursting with bountiful botanical roses and a kaleidoscope of fanciful butterflies.  Soft shades of pastel peach, lilac, sage, lemon, teal and pink are the perfect counterpoint for the bleak, grey days of mid-winter.  Beautifully landscaped backgrounds include pastel plaids, cheery polka-dots, flowing script, classic stripes, elegant flourishes, seed packets, garden themed sentiments and images.  Six hand drawn stamp sets featuring botanical roses and butterflies can be paired with two sets of dies, allowing you to stamp and die cut a host of embellishments with a single pass through your die cutting machine.  You'll dream in beauty, plant seeds of encouragement and reap a harvest of creativity when you design with the
Butterfly Medley Collection from Heartfelt Creations.
My card today for this collection features the Botanical Rose stamp & the Butterfly Medley stamp,  which will be in the store today and is part of this months release. I love to color so of course I would choose this stamp to be my first creation. You can find complete instruction for this card on the Heartfelt Blog, along with other projects from my Teammates.

Here's a close-up of the super pretty rose stamp. I've colored it with my Copics & I'll list them below.
Copics Used:
Flower & buds- BG15, 11, 000, 18
Leaves- YG67, 63, G20

Thanks for joining me today & I hope you enjoy this new collection, it's fabulous!

Wednesday's Heartfelt Inspiration

Hi bloggers, time for some inspiration from Heartfelt Creations. Next week is our new release for the February collection called Butterfly Medley so I am posting My last primary projects for Birds and Blooms. This collection is so sweet and I'll be sneaking in a post and using elements from it from time to time, I just won't be able to help myself! I colored my birdies as Purple Finches today, where did they get that name anyway? Everyone knows they're pink! My flowers are made using the Arianna Blooms stamps set and matching die, love them, so soft & pretty!
I have created a card for you today with complete instructions on the Heartfelt Blog, but I am sneaking in a cute project for a nice house warming gift. It isn't on the Heartfelt site as I just finished it in time to post here. I'm thinking of doing a tutorial for it in the future, so keep watching!
My card just might be able to sneak by as a Valentine card using the heart die, charm, and the Always & Forever tag, whatdaya think???
Here's a close-up of my sweet birdies, and the Copics are listed on the Heartfelt Blog.

Now, on to my other project. You'll have to excuse the bottle. (filled with colored water) My sister brought it, with the lemonade in it, and I kept it because it was so pretty. I think it would have looked better empty, but it was too late to turn back when I was taking the photo! This cute doodad has a paper ring in the back so it will slip off the bottle, be it wine, champagne, root beer or whatever, so the recipient could save it or re-gift it. I've used the Home Sweet Home stamp set, apropos don't you think? The papers are from the Birds and Blooms paper collection found here.

Well that's about all for me today, and I hope you've enjoyed my post and stop in at the
Heartfelt Blog for tons more inspiration from my phenomenally talented Teammates.
Hugs, Maureen

My Besties Challenge # 3 Hearts or Arrows

Happy Monday bloggers! Today is another new challenge from the My Besties International group. This is a fun one as Valentines Day is so close and our theme is Hearts or Arrows! The winner of this challenge will win 3 My Bestie digital stamps and the 3 runner up's will get a badge to display on their blog!

I added some hand cut banners, die cut hearts, a gold doily, flowers, ribbon and a few extra do-dads to finish my card. I colored her with Copic markers and I'll list them below.
