Heartfelt Christmas Inspiration Wednesday

Hi bloggers! Hope your having a great day so far. Our weather here in the Mid-West has been really hot, but I love it. All too soon the dreaded "W" word will be here and then every thing pretty much goes into hibernation, including me! I have a card for you today using the Celebrate the Season collection from Heartfelt Creations. I've used the paper and presents from it, and added some Poinsettias from last years release, Sparkling Poinsettia. I used a verse from the page of verses in the paper pad for the inside of my card, but added a cut-out with acetate so it shows through to the front.
I hope you enjoy it.

Remember you can find complete printable instructions for this card and all my teammates beautiful work over on the HC Blog.

Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you have time to do some happy holiday crafting!
Hugs, Maureen

Christmas Inspiration from Heartfelt Creations

Hi bloggers, how we doin' on those Christmas cards? I have a banner for you today, just in case you want a break from all those cards, right?  I've used the Celebrate the Season Collection for my banner, along with a few other goodies from my Heartfelt Creations stash, a little help from my Cricut and a few miscellaneous additions.  I have a picture of the entire banner and then I have included close-ups of each crest. This way if you choose to try & create one for yourself you have a better look at the placements of all the elements I used. Enjoy!

Christmas in July!!!

The time has come to once again “Celebrate the Season” with Heartfelt Creations!  Non-traditional in color, this new holiday themed collection showcases an assortment of exceptional winter hues…shades of teals, pinks, greens and violets resembling the northern lights, whites as crisp as freshly fallen snow and ice blues mimicking frozen ponds beneath the blades of gently gliding ice skates.  Four fanciful cling stamp sets filled with old fashioned themed illustrations of ornate sleighs, wooden gates, gifts, skates, mittens, and simple wreaths filled with poinsettias and greenery, along with an assortment of charming sentiments will bring feelings of nostalgia from Christmas past to all of your crafty creations while being paired with the contemporary color palette of Christmas present.  Three coordinating sets of dies will have you creating your very own dimensional embellishments perfect for holiday cards, layouts and altered art pieces.  Join us as we “Celebrate the Season” and get an early start to all of our holiday themed creating.

So here's my gate fold styled card and I hope you'll be inspired to get an early start on you Christmas cards.

Here's close up of the cutie pie skates and also how I have decorated the inside of my card.

Thinking of You Orchid Inspiration

Hello bloggers. How was your 4th of July. Mine was quiet, mowed lawn all afternoon. I mow about 2 1/2 acres so it consumes most of the day. My sister came out on Saturday and we had our celebration then & power washed the deck, yay! So Sunday was rest day, & then back at it on Monday. I like to mow late in the day because when you have Lupus as I do, the sweet sun is NOT your best friend!
My card today is made with the beautiful Botanic Orchid Collection from Heartfelt Creations, of course, and it's a little different. I wanted to try my hand at neutrals instead of pink, white, or another pastel for this shaker card. I love this look. I think it's dramatic and the pops of gold mirror paper add a tad bit of elegance. I hope you'll give these colors a try.

You can find complete instructions for this card and lots of other beautiful projects on the
Heartfelt Creations Blog, so be sure to stop in there and take a peek!
