CHF Challenge # 54

Hello again Bloggers. It's time again for another challenge over at Cornish Heritage Farms.
Our Challenge today is hosted by our Design Team member Anne Marie. It is her choice today to challenge you to try your hand at Water coloring an image. I am not proficient at it but Anne has inspired me to try more of it. I used watercolor pencils and an Aqua Pen to paint my image. I was not too happy with the pastel look of it when I finished so I experimented and sprayed it(outside, it's stinky) with some Krylon "Preserve It" matte spray, which is made to preserve digital photos and paper. And it turned out awesome! Experiment successful!

If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!
To play create a card using CHF images. You can use either CHF digi or rubber stamps to create a card or project.... anything you like as long as the stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms. (Yes, they can be older stamps)
.You can enter on the CHF blog and let us see your creations. If you enter your project on the blog or SCS or Pinterest just remember to use the code CHF54

I chose a Thomas Kincaid image called "The Good Life" for my card today. I am here to tell you these stamps are magnificent! The detail is exquisite. I am finding that they stamp better on Copic X-Press paper better than watercolor paper though. I was pleased to see (when I received my DT welcome kit) that Tanya has eliminated the bulky wood mount of the TK stamps. They come with a foam mount and a beautiful detailed color picture on the package. Soooo much better for storage!
I wanted to try and do a card centered around Fathers Day as it will be passed for our next challenge. I thought this image was perfect. My own Dad has passed long ago so my selection for this day is very slim, I'm finding. I also used some other things I already had in my stash to complete my card.

Here's a close-up of the image on my card.

Thanks for joining us today & be sure to stop by all my Teamies blogs to get some inspiration!

Stop in again
