PPRS Inspiration Monday

Here we are again Bloggers. Time for Monday with Prickley Pear. I've chosen to do a Father's Day themed card as we are already into June & Father's day on the 15th really isn't that far away.
I used two elements from PPRS today on my card. FF0171 Find my Prince rubber stamp and the corner from D035 Mini Gears Die Set. I added some brads for the masculine look. There is a Royal-Crown rubber stamp at PPRS that would be awesome with this sentiment, but I don't have it. I'm thinking I should!
I used a chipboard crown that I had gotten from my sister and painted it, then added some Tim Holtz crackle glaze. I then rubbed ink into the cracks & put some rhinestones on for a touch of bling. Who says Daddies don't like a little bling? I had the crown paper & thought is was a great touch with the whole "Prince" theme. The metallic paper I used is the fairly new to the market, "POW" paper.  It is so gorgeous, the picture doesn't do it justice.  This the only glitter paper that will NOT dull your dies or dull your Cricut or Silhouette blades. I do use waxed paper and a shim when I am cutting with dies, as this paper has a plastic sort of backing.

I'm adding a close-up of the sentiment and corners & you can better see what the paper looks like that accompanies them.

Thanks for joining me today & I hope I've provided you with some inspiration!
Hugs, Maureen
